Martin Rosol makes great hot dogs. The New Britain-based has been in the business since 1928, and they provide the hot dogs to most of the hot dogs stands in the area, and can also be found in grocery stores and meat markets. The dog's have that special snap you get on the first bite as you break the casing.

The factory and retail store are located at 45 Grove St. in New Britain. I stopped in the other day and bought a package of their famous dogs and also picked up a bottle of Weiner Water, a tribute soda made by another local New Britain staple, Avery's Sodas.
